Boat Building - Part 3: Painting

Sorry it took us quite a while to update the blog, even though the boat building works has already progressed far beyond this point.

Actually, right after assembling, we moved on to painting the boat with a layer of water proof undercoat to prevent ingress of water to the boat's hull.

The paint will then be sand papered to give the plywood boat a smooth finish, before another layer of enamel paint is applied as a finishing touch.
